GIOVANNI CERULLI (g.cerulli@ceris.cnr.it) - Giovanni, GRAPE's coordinator, is researcher in “applied economics and econometrics” at CERIS-CNR, National Reserach Council of Italy, Institute for Economic Reserach on Firms and Growth. He received a degree in "Statistics" from the University of Rome La Sapienza where he also took a PhD in "Economic sciences". Giovanni is editor-in-chief of the "International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics" (IJCEE). His research interests are focused on applied econometric modelling with a focus on counter-factual and treatment statistical models. Simulative and agent-based methods are also among his related fields of study. Giovanni is particularly interested in measuring quantitatively the effects of public policies on firm economic and technological performance.



FEDERICO CECCONI (federico.cecconi@istc.cnr.it) - Federico, GRAPE's contact person, is senior researcher at ISTC, Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of CNR, Rome (LABSS, Laboratory on Agent Based Social Simulation). Within LABSS, he studies the dynamics of social cognitive artifacts (norms, reputation, punishment) regulating societies of autonomous intelligent agents. He is contents manager for Edulabss (ICT teaching&consulting). Federico teaches “Informatics” and “Numerical methods” in LUMSA, Libera Università Maria Ss. Assunta, in Rome. Its research interests are in the field of financial modeling, dynamics of cellular automata and complex networks, microeconomic modeling by agent based simulation. He is the author of several books and articles in indexed journals (among others PNAS, JASSS, Lecture Notes in AI).



BIANCA POTI' (b.poti@ceris.cnr.it) - Bianca is senior research responsible for “Innovation policy and economics” at CERIS-CNR (Institute for Economic Research on Firms and Growth, National Research Council of Italy). She took a B.A. in Economic and Monetary Policy at University of Rome "La Sapienza" and she specialized in Management of Economy and Firm, at the Olivetti Institute (ISTAO, Ancona). Bianca's scientific interests cover: economics of science and innovation; scientific and technological policy; Industrial organization; economics and organization of IPRs.



MARIA-AUGUSTA MICELI (augusta.miceli@uniroma1.it) - Maria-Augusta is Associate Professor of Economic Theory at University of Rome "La Sapienza". Graduated in Statistics, she took a M.Phil. at Cambridge University, U.K. in “Mathematical Economics and Econometrics” and she was postdoc visiting and teaching fellow at Harvard University, Dept. of Economics. She currently teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Industrial Organisation at the Faculty of Economics. Maria-Augusta's main interests are in computational economics and econometrics.



ROBERTO GABRIELE (rgabriel@economia.unitn.it) - Roberto is Assistant Professor at DISA, University of Trento (Italy), where he teaches Applied Economics, Statistics and Economics and Business strategy. Graduated in Statistica at the Univ. of Rome La Sapienza, Roberto held a PhD in Economics and Management, at Sant'anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa. His main reserach interests cover: Agent based models; Labor market dynamics; Industry dynamics; Causal models; microeconometrics; Public policy evaluation.



PIERPAOLO ANGELINI (pier.angelini@gmail.com) - Pierpaolo held a PhD in "Applied Research in Social Sciences", Department of Social Sciences and Economics, Sapienza University of Rome. His interests are in Social Network Analysis (in particular longitudinal models), sustainable development, knowledge creation and transfer in R&D collaboration networks.



DARIO GUARASCIO (g.darioguarascio@gmail.com) - Dario is PhD student in economics at the Doctoral School of Economics, University of Rome La Sapienza. He took a degree in Economics in the same university and a Master on "Welfare and public administrations". Dario's research interests are in the field of applied economics, income distribution and inequality, statistical models for optimizing decision policy.



ANTONIO ZINILLI (a.zinilli@ceris.cnr.it) - Antonio is Phd student in “Applied Research in Social Science”, “Department of Social and Economic Sciences”, Sapienza University of Rome. He held a first class honors degree in “Sociology and Social Research”, curricula in statistical methodology. His scientific research interests are in R&D, high education, spatial statistics and network analysis. Antonio collaborates with a fellowship with CERIS-CNR.



GAETANO SPARTA' (gaetanosparta@virgilio.it) - Gaetano is PhD student at the Department MEMOTEF (University La Sapienza, Rome). He took a master's degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate specialization in Evaluation of policies. Gaetano's research interests are in mathematics for economics and finance and mathematical logic.



GIOVANNI MARIN (g.marin@ceris.cnr.it) - Giovanni is post-doctoral researcher at CERIS-CNR, National Reserach Council of Italy, Institute for Economic Reserach on Firms and Growth, in Milan. He graduated in Economics at the University of Ferrara and took a PhD in Economics, Markets and Institutions at IMT Institute for Advanced Studies in Lucca. He as been visiting researcher at the Department of Economics of the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests cover: environmental economics, with a focus on eco-innovation; innovation studies; economics of IPRs; environmentally extended input-output analysis.

GIANLUCA CAPONE (gianluca.capone@gmail.com) - Gianluca is post-doctoral researcher in Applied Economics at IUSS Pavia. He holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University. From 2012 to 2014 he worked as post-doctoral researcher at the Urban and Regional Research Centre, Utrecht University. His research interests include: industrial dynamics and evolution, strategic management, economic geography, economics and management of innovation.



VICTOR RICARDO RUIZ LLAMAS (victorricardoruizllamas@gmail.com) - Victor is currently attending a PhD program in Applied Mathematics at the Department MEMOTEF (University La Sapienza, Rome). He obtained his degree in Economics from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico and went on to earn a Msc degree in Mathematics. He studied data Intelligence and Strategic Decisions at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. Victor worked for the academic administrative UDI (Institutional Development Unit).He held a position as head of the Statistics Analysis department of the Centre for Strategic Studies for Development (CEED) and taught Economics and Statistics at the Jalisco Polytechnic. Victor’s research interests include agent-based model in particularity knowledge diffusion and innovation, game theory, information economy, future studies and scenarios and economic development.
